The nearly 2-mile Rosa Parks Path shares a corridor with Springfield's bus rapid transit system known as Emerald Express (EmX). The trail runs adjacent to the BRT lanes, which are limited to bus traffic only. Both the path and the EmX lanes are located in the middle of Pioneer Parkway.
The Rosa Parks Path links downtown Springfield at Main Street with the city’s northern, residential area. Connections to other trails and bike lanes are abundant.
Parking for the Rosa Parks Path can be found on city streets in downtown Springfield.
