Dorchester County Parks and Recreation Department operates Richard H. Rosebrock Park, which is a 70-acre natural area offering 1.5 miles of hiking trails adjacent to the Ashley Scenic River, and located near the intersection of Highways 165 and 61. Informational interpretive signage is posted throughout the trail system, educating victors about the rich history of the area as well as native plants and wildlife they may encounter along the way.
Rosebrock Park is located at 507 Beech Hill Rd. (Summerville). There is ample parking available as well as bathrooms, picnic shelters, and benches.
