One other thing I forgot to add. My son has measured the long loop of this trail which is really 2.5 miles.
I ride this trail about every night because it is close to my house. This is a very busy trail with LOTS of pedestrian. Also, the trail goes by several soccer fields. When there are games going on, sometimes this presents problems since people tend to want to stand on the sidewalk which is the trail. The back side of the trail (on the other side of the park) is wonderful because it is treed and there is a nearby creek (this is part of the trail in the residential area). Temperature drops on this side of the trail drops always at least 5 degrees (lots cooler). The rest of the trail goes by Skaggs Elementary and as I said above the soccer fields as well as the Fire Station #10 in Plano Texas. Overall, my favorite trail in Plano.
