The leaves from its southern end at the parking lot at Sand Hollow Aquatic Center, 1144 N Lava Flow Drive, climbing to parallel N. Lava Flow Drive and merging with the bike lane there.
Parking for the Sand Hollow Wash Trail is available at the Sand Hollow Aquatic Center, 1144 N Lava Flow Dr. (St. George)
Please see TrailLink Map for detailed directions.
Location: St George, UT
Trail Condition: Wide pavement in good condition.
Signage: St George trail system has excellent signage.
Comments: Trail follows along Sand Hollow wash and away from traffic. Passes by a large bike park. Not a long trail but a nice quiet ride. Can connect with the longer Lava Flow trail to the west. Can’t say enough good things about the St George trail system and parks, can only get better with time and more inter-connectabilty (if such a word).
From the Aquatic Parking Lot the trail climes out of the Wash to run next to N Lava Flow Dr by schools, then back into the Wash to W1800N, were it merges into a bike lane on N Lava Floiw Dr. Some scenery, surface of trail in great condition. Noel Keller 29 Mar 2011
