South Willow Trail Description

Located south of I-80 and west of US-83, the South Willow Trail is a multipurpose community pathway. It's a wide concrete trail, sandwiched paralleling South Willow Street, with residential neighborhoods on one side and a range of business on the other. The trail is anchored on its south end by Osgood Elementary and Mid Plains Community College, making it a convenient pathway to and from school for the city's students. The South Willow Trail is part of North Platte's expanding trail network, and there are plans to complete a connection between this trail and the Buffalo Bill Trail along State Farm Road.
