Sycamore Canyon Fire Road Description

The Sycamore Canyon Fire Road, which runs through Point Mugu State Park, is an excellent option for mountain biking. It has a flat and level grade as it runs north from the Scyamore Canyon Campground. Most of the trail follows Big Sycamore Canyon Creek.

At the northern end of the trail at the Danielson Multi-Use Group Campground, the Sycamore Canyon Fire Road continues north, but is now paved and open to road traffic. Trail users may travel all the way north to Rancho Potrero, a suburban neighborhood of Los Angeles along this road.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at the Sycamore Canyon Campground.
