The Three Creeks Trail adds about a mile to Spartanburg's growing network of trails, christened the Daniel Morgan Trail System or "The Dan" for short. The 10-ft wide paved trail stretches between Wofford Street and Main Street. Traveling roughly parallel to Vanderbilt Road, the trail also takes a wooded course along Fairforest Creek. Future plans include expanding the trail in both directions as part of the greater trail system.
There is no dedicated trail parking, but visitors can park on Vanderbilt Road.
This trail was fun to walk. Mainly flat with a few uphill challenges. It is a little scenic in some parts and close to the main road in others. It is near housing areas with cats scrounging around and the trail is close to the main road towards the end. There is parking area towards the very beginning of the trail which is nice too.
