Ward Branch Greenway Description

Ward Branch Greenway is 4.8 miles existing in 3 discrete sections in south Springfield, Missouri. The northernmost segment begins at Cox Medical Center on E Bradford Parkway, ducks underneath SR 60 and ends at Republic Road. The middle segment runs through a residential area. Beginning opposite Twin Oaks Country Club, it dips underneath SR 160, stretching for about a mile. The final tree-covered segment runs from Wanda Fray Elementary School to the Missouri Institute of Natural Science.

Parking and Trail Access

You can park at (from south to north) the Missouri Institute of Natural Science (2327 W Farm Rd 190); Wanda Gray School (2101 W Farm Rd 182) or the Library Center (4653 S Campbell Ave.) in the Twin Oaks Park neighborhood.
