The Warwick Township Linear Park Trail is a joint project of Warwick Township and Lititz borough. The pathway extends from Market Street north, following the Santo Domingo Creek, to Newport Road. Although the asphalt section of the trail ends at a trailhead immediately north of Newport Road, a crushed stone section extends about 1,800 feet farther north into a natural area, then dead ends. The trail may eventually be extended farther south through Lititz, connecting to the Lititz-Warwick Trailway.
In addition to providing a level, ADA-friendly multi-use trail suitable for cycling, inline skating, walking, and jogging, the linear park also features natural areas, athletic fields, and playgrounds.
The trail can be accessed from a parking lot off of Market Street and a trailhead off of Newport Road.
We rode from the Lititz-Warwick Trailway (AKA Newport Square Public Trail) off of the Lititz to Ephrata trail about 1.5 miles on roads to get to this trail. There is ample parking at the trail as well as restrooms. Take the gravel spur trail to the wetland overlook. The trail is not well marked where it crosses Laurie Lane. Just one of many scenic short trails in the area.
This trail is recently made. It goes through beautiful landscapes, farms, river and nice trees Totally recommended
