This trail follows alongside the West Branch of the Rocky River in Davidson, NC and is a part of the Carolina Thread trails complex. The greenway offers a refreshing walk or ride into nature, passing through open meadows and thick woodlands. There are two off-street segments of the trail: the northern segment is about 1.7 miles of paved pathway running along the western edge of Abersham Park and continuing into Fisher Farm before dead-ending. The properties together boast 600 acres and 2.5 miles of walking and biking paths between them.
The southern off-street path runs 1.1 miles from River Ford Drive to the West Branch Nature Preserve. A dirt nature trail picks up where this one leaves off, taking users deep into the preserve but if you choose to continue on it, you'll have to park your bike at the entrance. The West Branch Preserve Nature Trail is another Carolina Thread trail.
