Rode the entire trail and its paved and an easy 7 mile ride. Park at the Iron Horse Church on Chicot and its pretty easy and seemed safe for the area. No creepy questionable characters around. Just be mindful of crossing several main roads, there are signals to activate but they are still major roads. Went to the Saline/Pulaski line at the southernmost part and looks like they are extending this into Alexander.
This runs behind my house and the tributary that crosses it is full of e-coli. Almost every rain opens a manhole and raw sewage runs into tributary and into Hot Springs Creek. I caught e-coli and almost died. The city used my land for 18 months and paid Cate Construction $4500 to fix ditch and he did nothing. Tributary is terrible on city property. Be careful of any water, it can be deadly especially for older people and children.Asphalt on walkway is already beginning to break.
The wife and I rode this trail for the first time on 7/2/25 on our ebikes. The trail was a wonderful ride. We started at the west end at Two Rivers Park, rode east and crossed The Big Dam Bridge to the north side of the river, and continued to the eastern end where the trail crosses back over the river on the bike/pedestrian bridge to the south side of the river where the Clinton library/museum is. We then took the same route back to where we started. We didn't bother returning all the way along the south side due to alot of negative comments about trail continuity. It was a total of 25 miles.
Great trail, well maintained, beautiful and scenic.
This is a nice riding trail that I enjoyed very much. My only complaint is the need for more signs where the trail goes onto city streets, it’s very easy to get lost.
We rode the trail today 10-19-2024. We started by trying to find two listed parking spots on the south side of the river without success, so we parked somewhere else that was next to the trail. We first tried going east on the trail toward Clinton library where we wanted to cross the river but were told by some men that the sidewalk was closed so we turned around and went west only to run into a dead end. The section looked nice with some cute statues/sculptures and open seating areas but the trail was very poorly marked so it was a challenge to find out where we were supposed to go next. We loaded up and drove across the river and parked at the maritime museum (nice large parking lot) parking lot. We then went west to the end of the trail. Very pretty! We passed kids playing soccer, men playing golf, beautiful water side homes, playgrounds, the Big Rock Quarry, lots of people walking, biking, skating, etc. Very enjoyable.
I love this trail and I ride it every chance I get, it has so many access points you can get on at several different trail heads, and it’s so versatile in trail conditions, most of it is paved, then you do some road riding on one stretch, you can go off road a little on one part of it as well.
Rode from downtown Little Rock from the Marriott to the bridge over the Arkansas River by the Clinton Presidential Library and then all the way west on the north side of the river out to the Big Dam Bridge and then back across the river and continued west to the end of Two Rivers park. The trail is basically flat except for the bridges, wide and paved. Once you get two or so miles west of Clinton Bridge, The trail is basically a mixture of park spaces and greenway along the River. It’s beautiful. We rode on a weekday. I imagine on the weekend it may be more crowded. We were told to Stay away from the south river stretch because of construction and the fact that it isn’t as scenic.
My husband I and I use this trail often. It goes through wooded areas, along Gun Creek, through fields and park areas. Pretty level all along the way. We use it to get to neighborhoods where we can extend our ride. Well maintained throughout! Excellent trail for biking or walking!
Trail had some cracks and stones. It didn’t make in-line skating too difficult, just had to be cautious. Scenery was nice and trail was short. My dogs loved it. Would be a great trail for kids
Burns park closed but trail open to pass through!! Signage a bit lacking west of downtown sculpture park.
