Get outside with us this winter! DRCC, in conjunction with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Pennypack Park, will be holding a nature hike through the paths and wooded areas of Pennypack on the Delaware Park on Saturday, February 10th. Participants will be guided by nature experts in a variety of activities including a nature hike through forest restoration and shoreline projects lead by Friends of Pennypack Park expert Roland Williams, native insect identification courtesy of our friends from the Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion and bird watching with help from bird expert George Armistead. This event is free, and open to all ages! **JUST ADDED! We'll be having a riverside trail cleanup immediately following the hike if you would like to stay and help out (1pm-2:30pm).
