440 Greenway Description

The first phase of the 440 Greenway is 1.25 miles of paved trail linking two parks and providing a safe connection to neighborhoods previously divided by I-440 and I-40. The trail parallels I-440 between Centennial Park and Elmington Park in Nashville. The goal is to ultimately build 7 miles of off-road greenway.

late summer walk

Very flat, all paved. One dangerous spot is crossing the 440 off-ramp because the cars are flying off that part of the ramp. Great walk leads eight up to the centennial dog park.
