Here it is 2021, and the previous reviews could still stand true. This trial is taken over by homeless camps, and we didn't feel safe to walk more than twenty yards down the trial. The pictures on this site NEED to desperately be updated, or the trial cleaned up.
There are shopping carts everywhere and a homeless community in the back. You can not walk to the back without being bothered. I called Parks and recreation and they said "we know." Not that anything is being done about it. Someone please do something!
Picked up Bojangles chicken and parked by the trail for lunch yesterday. We were quickly surrounded by homeless that lurked out f the woods. Nashville needs to clean up this area.
I am disappointed with what has happened to this greenway. It is within miles of my home but the last review is right. It has been taken over by the homeless and I would NOT go on this trail. It is not safe for anyone.
Unfortunately this trail has been taken over by the homeless and vagabonds who live on the trail and hang out on the benches at the trailhead. The area along the trail was trashy and the signage needed maintenance.
This was my 1st bike trail and i enjoyed it. I'm not very athletic and it is an easy ride.
