Overview
The Ahdawagam Blue Trail is a 4.1 rail trail that runs between Wisconsin Rapids and Port Edwards. It is paved and follows a flat trail between the two small towns.
It is also a rail-with-trail and nearly the entire route follows an active rail line.
About the Route
The Ahdawagam Blue Trail passes a couple of notable sites along its route south of Wisconsin Rapids. Along the way, the trail takes trail users past numerous wetlands.
Another notable site is the Wisconsin Rapids Zoo. Several other trails in the region to this rail trail, including the Ahdawagam River Trail which connects to the blue trail just south of the zoo.
The Ahdawagam Blue Trail runs between 761 W Grand Ave, (Wisconsin Rapids) and 432 Letendre Ave. (Port Edwards), where parking is available.
