The Hoover Road Trail is a 4-mile spur connecting the Green Circle Trail in Stevens Point to the Tomorrow River State Trail in the Village of Plover. The asphalt trail parallels Hoover Road passing Mainland Meadows, where it branches off and connects to the crushed granite Whiting Crossing Trail. A little ways south, you can access Little Plover River Park with picnic facilities and play area and baseball diamond. A pair of parks, Worzella Pines & Lake Pacawa, provide a scenic conclusion to the journey. Worzella Pines sits on the shores of the lake.
There are several at-grade road crossings so be sure to exercise caution as you jog, walk or bike. Leashed pets are welcome on the trail but not in the parks.
You can park and find a restroom at Little Plover Park located on Pineries Road near the midpoint of the trail. At the southern end you can park at the Worzella Pines Park along Maple Drive on the east side of Hoover Road.
It's value is a a connection to the Green Circle trail. It is paved the entire distance and mostly flat. It gets lots of use. It's a good little trail. You can also access the west terminus of the Tomorrow River Trail in Plover, WI
