The City of Waukesha has developed a number of connector trails to link popular trails and create continuous routes through the city. A number of longer, popular trails—such as the Glacial Drumlin State Trail, the Lake Country Trail, the Meadowbrook Trail, and the Fox River Trail—have detached segments in and around the City of Waukesha. These shorter paths will provide greater connectivity, alternative commuting modes, and increased access to green recreational spaces for locals and visitors alike.
The Barstow to Frederick Street Connector is a paved 10-foot-wide asphalt path that provides a link between the New Berlin Recreation Trail and the Glacial Drumlin State Trail.
Parking is available by the western end of the trail in a parking lot on N Barstow St.
This is City of Waukesha walking/biking trail. Beware it has many intersections so use caution when crossing each road. Great connector trail to New Berlin and Glacial Drumlin.
