The Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail connects these namesake towns along the coast of Lake Charlevoix, a popular vacation spot in Northern Michigan.
The trail is currently open in two sections, with the southernmost portions connecting Boyne City and Horton Bay, a former vacation spot of Ernest Hemingway, and the northern section picking up along Quarterline Road and running north until connecting with the Little Traverse Wheelway.
Along the way, the trail passes several public beaches, including Young State Park in Boyne City.
Parking for the Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail is available at Young State Park.
