The Chelsea Greenway was built to accompany the extension of the Silver Line between Boston and its northern suburb, Chelsea. The asphalt multiuse trail begins at the Eastern Avenue MBTA station and parallels the dedicated bus lanes up to Chelsea Street. The trail currently measures just over a half-mile, and runs through industrial and residential areas. There is one at-grade crossing point at Cottage Street, and the trail is s separated from the busway by a fence.
The Eastern Avenue Silver Line station in Chelsea has bike parking. Other information can be found at the MBTA website.
