Bentonville's Downtown Trail provides a curving route through the city's charming downtown, linking the Walmart Home Office to the Bentonville Public Library. Two neighborhood parks along the way—Gilmore Park and Train Station Park—offer opportunities to relax or picnic. The latter also features the restored Bentonville Train Station and a caboose, commemorating the rail line that once passed through the area.
In fact, a disconnected portion of the Downtown Trail between SE B Street and SE E Street was built on the former rail line. From this portion's eastern end on SE 5th Street, pick up the Town Branch Trail (part of the Razorback Regional Greenway) to continue north or south through Bentonville and beyond.
Limited parking for the Downtown Trail is available at Train Station Park (400 block of S. Main Street) in Bentonville.
