As its name implies, the J Street Trail follows NE J Street for its entire route, connecting Bentonville residents with churches, businesses, parks and the city's substantial trail network. One highlight along the route is the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which can be accessed via a new spur trail along Museum Way.
Along the way, direct connections can be made to the Tiger Trail, John DeShields Trail (which provides access to both Orchards Park and Memorial Park), Heritage Trail, Town Branch Trail and South Bentonville Trail. The latter two are also components of the impressive Razorback Regional Greenway, which heads north to Bella Vista and south to Fayetteville.
There are no official parking areas for the J Street Trail, but parking can be found at Orchards Park (1100 NE John DeShields Boulevard) in Bentonville. From the parking lot, continue west on the John DeShields Trail until you reach the J Street Trail at the entrance to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
