Meandering around and through the City of Spartanburg's eastside, the Drayton Mills Trail offers a surprise retreat into nature sheltered by greenery from the urban bustle. This wooded trail includes two segments, Lower Drayton Mills Trail and Upper Drayton Mill Trail, separated by Drayton Road. Both parts are paved and 10ft wide, making them accessible and stroller-friendly. Pets on leashes are welcome.
The Upper Drayton Mills Trail begins at Doctors Park Dr by the Spartanburg Medical Center and connects with the Lower Drayton Mills Trail by the Drayton Mills Marketplace and Drayton Mills Loft Apartments.
Drayton Mills Trail will eventually connect with the Palmetto Trail, a proposed 500-mile systems of trails across South Carolina.
Parking is available in a large lot across the street from Drayton Mills Loft Apartments near the intersection of Ansel St and Drayton Rd with access on Ansel (Ansel St, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
