On the east end of Portage, this paved pathway begins near the intersection of S. Sprinkle Road and Zylman Avenue. On the south side of Zylman Avenue, you can easily reach Ramona Park, which offers a swimming beach and fishing pier on Long Lake.
From Zylman Avenue, the trail heads north, paralleling Sprinkle Road; a wide grassy median dotted with trees separates it from the roadway. The trail passes Stryker Corporation, a manufacturer of medical equipment, before reaching E. Centre Avenue, where it heads west until its end at Portage Road, a major thoroughfare lined with shops and businesses.
Parking and restrooms can be found in Ramona Park (8600 S. Sprinkle Road).
This trail is so cracked and bumpy there are almost no smooth parts to it.
Nosie from traffic is also a constant presence.
There is nothing to see here expect a few bursts of nature amidst urban sprawl.
It's also so short you should consider walking instead of biking.
