The Goldsboro Trail is approximately a mile long, located in the Goldsboro neighborhood of Sanford, Florida. The neighborhood was one of Florida's first incorporated Black communities but was annexed into Sanford and experienced disinvestment over time.
Coastline Park serves as the trailhead. The park was recently renovated and boasts facilities including basketball courts, tennis courts, playground and a large shelter. The park site was once a railroad service yard. The trail begins at the north end of the park and parallels Poplar Avenue, past the pond. Crossing into 11th Street, the trail moves into a former railroad corridor, heading southwest through residential neighborhoods. At its southern end, the trail reaches Goldsboro Middle School.
The trail is smooth asphalt with center striping. There are several street crossings, all marked. There are also benches placed trailside. There is also lighting provided.
Coastline Park is located at 900 W 9th St, Sanford, FL 32771.
