The Granger Meadows Park Trail forms a loop around the 76-acre park in DeWitt Township, just north of Lansing. The park was built and donated by Granger III and Associates, a local trash and recycling company, in 2005.
The loop trails runs through open space near the park’s playground, ball field, picnic shelter and pond. A western extension continues through dense woodlands to Valley Farms Park, the primary active recreation facility in DeWitt Township.
Parking for the Granger Meadows Park Trail is available at both Valley Farms Park on Wieland Road and Granger Meadows Park on Granger Meadows Lane.
Well maintained, beautiful scenery. I enjoyed my walk!
The trails inside the park are well maintained and paved but if you are going for a walk with your dogs, you are in for a shorter and potentially muddy walk. There is only one area where dogs are allowed and it is on the outskirts of the park. It is an unpaved trail through the woods, which is easy to walk through but floods in areas after a rain.
This park is everything you need! Peaceful, beautiful and a great family spot! One of my favorites to workout at as well!
Very nice paved trail. Views look like a more western state. A highly recommend this trail for families and people who wish to picnic.
