Access to the Guyton Rails to Trails is available off of Georgia SR 17/Central Boulevard in downtown Guyton. Parking can be found in between SR 17 and West Central Boulevard near Guyton's City Hall. Additional parking is available at the northern trailhead between Gracen Road and Simmons Street adjacent to the Pilgrim Park walking trail.
Nice trail. Level, no real inclines or declines. Trail is asphalt and is well maintained. I know this heading says .75 miles, my Google Tracks showed 2.1 miles round trip from caboose trail head (including the Pilgrim Trail). My 6 year old rode his bike, wife and I walked. He loved it. Easy for him to ride. Great for stretching out legs if on a road trip through the area, or for regular dailly excersize. Four stars due to no outstanding scenery. Does have some historic houses visible along trail, and is very nicely landscaped.
