Not to be confused with the nearby unpaved Haskell Rail Trail, this shared-use path runs along the west side of Haskell Avenue. The trail picks up from the S. Lawrence Trafficway Trail and heads north along Haskell up to E. 28th Street. Wetlands form much of the scenery on the southern part of the trail, transitioning to business and residential uses further north. At 29th Street, work is underway on a connection to the south trailhead of the Haskell Rail-Trail, which in turn leads to the Burroughs Creek Trail and Linear Park in downtown Lawrence. Together, these and other trails join to form the Lawrence Loop around the city, which will be 22 miles when complete.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail.
