The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, also known as the Pueblo Riverwalk, offers a beautiful waterfront retreat on the south end of Pueblo’s downtown. The trail is part of the 32-acre Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project (HARP), which was initiated to revitalize the city center and includes plazas for gatherings and public events.
Beginning in Gateway Park, the paved pathway winds along the river for almost a mile with many restaurants and public art dotting the route. At the trail’s southern end, you can connect to the Thomas Phelps Creek Trail for another mile of riding or walking down to Runyon Lake.
Access the trail at Gateway Park; restrooms are also available here.
