The Runyon Lake Trail encircles Runyon Lake within a state wildlife area in eastern Pueblo. The 5-acre lake is fed by the Arkansas River, which runs along the southern end of the lake. The lake is stocked for fishing and may be enjoyed with non-motorized boats, though swimming is prohibited. The area is also a good place for birding and wildlife viewing for foxes, rabbits, and other small animals.
Parking and restrooms are available on the north end of Runyon Lake within the Runyon Lake State Wildlife Area, accessible from I-25 by taking either Exit 97A or 97B.
Loop is a easy one, the only downside was the trash piled almost everywhere.
