Ke Ala Pupukea Bike Path Description

The Ke Ala Pupukea Bike Path, offering a lush, well-shaded route with gorgeous beach views, is one of the most heavily used trails on Oahu. The paved pathway travels about 3 miles along the coastal side of the Kamehameha Highway through the town of Pupukea on the island's North Shore, a popular tourist destination. The trail begins just north of Waimea Bay, a favorite surfing spot, and ends south of Sunset Beach.

 

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available in the beach parks along the trail: Pupukea Beach Park (59-727 Kamehameha Highway), Sunset Point Beach Park (59-104 Kamehameha Highway) and Euhaki Beach Park (59-337 Ke-Nui Road).
