Overview
The Middleton Bike Path is a paved, 1.3-mile rail-trail connects parks, neighborhoods and downtown Middletown.
About the Route
From its northern end at Middleton Place Park (75 Marjorie Ave, Middleton), the trail parallels Hwy 44/Star Blvd northwest to Roadside Park (421 E Main St, Middleton). Middletown Place Park has parking, restrooms, picnic shelters, tennis courts, sand volley, a baseball field and a playground. Roadside Park has parking, restrooms, a picnic shelter, a playground and horseshoe pits.
At Roadside Park, the trail crosses Hwy 44/Star Blvd and heads south past a few shops. There are a few fields and trees on either side of the trail until it reaches its southern end at the Middleton Rd and Sawtooth Lake Dr roundabout. There is a small section of trail south of the roundabout that ends at a dilapidated railroad trestle that hasn't yet been restored.
The Middleton Bike Path runs between Middleton Place Park (75 Marjorie Ave, Middleton), where parking is available, and the Middleton Rd & Sawtooth Lake Dr roundabout (Middleton).
