The Nancy Creek Trail provides a route between Murphy Candler Park and Blackburn Park, two popular recreation sites in the Atlanta suburb of Brookhaven. The concrete trail is a mixture of off-road trail that winds through scenic Blackburn Park and less-scenic but functional sidepath trail that runs along the side of the road into Murphy Candler Park. The route is well-marked thanks to signage from the PATH Foundation, the region's exceptional trails group, and the terrain should not offer much of a challenge to cyclists or pedestrians - just keep in mind that some stretches of the trail are fairly narrow sidewalk, so adjust speeds accordingly. In addition to the parks and their outdoor and athletic amenities, the trail runs past the Marist School and a local retirement community, providing a nice recreation path and a useful connection through this suburban area.
Parking is available at Murphy Candler Park on the northern end of the trail, off of W Nancy Creek Drive. Additional parking is available at Blackburn Park, via the lots on Rebecca Williams Way and the lot off of Donaldson Drive. The trail is located within easy access from Interstate 285 by taking exit 29 and following Ashford Dunwoody Road south.
