Jacksonville's Northbank Riverwalk offers scenic views of the St. John's River and the city skyline. It's also part of a larger effort called the Emerald Greenway, which will connect 14 miles of trail throughout Jacksonville. Beginning at the Fuller Warren Bridge in the Brooklyn neighborhood of the city, the pathway heads east, offering convenient access to restaurants and other businesses, the YMCA and Sidney J. Gefen Riverwalk Park. The park includes a kayak launch and you may even spot a manatee as you paddle through the water.
On the west end of the trail, parking is available at Sidney J. Gefen Riverwalk Park (505 Alfred Dupont Pl.).
...A very good walking path, but always a work in progress due to Neverending construction...I for one miss the Landing!
Short but beautiful. Most of the work is done now. Lots of pedestrians, so this is not a fast ride. The ramps to the bridges are loads of fun!
It will be a beautiful trail when completed, but quite a bit of it still under construction.
