Palmetto Park Road Path offers a paved east-west route from Boca Raton to Sandalfoot Cove. The 5.5-mile trail offers a convenient connection between residences, busy shopping areas (such as Palmetto Park Square), and recreational amenities (Sugar Sand Park and Veteran's Park). Note that there are a few major road crossings, but they are well-marked.
A parking lot is available on the west side of the trail in Veteran's Park, just east of Highway 411.
Wide trail, far from road, saw lots of animals.
Excellent well paved trail/sidewalk on the south side of Palmeto Park road running East and West. Approximately 6+’ wide with only a few intersections and driveways. Great for walking, jogging or biking.
The trail has a good paved surface, and it's great if you can have a tailwind at your back. I don't like that you have major roads to cross like Lyons road, Powerline Road, and Military Trail. A lot of drivers don't really pay attention to their surroundings, so don't be surprised if someone , who is making a turn, cuts in front of you as you're riding on the trail. You have to have your head on a swivel, and make sure that you're noticed.
well paved and plenty of space (width) to share the path with the numerous bikers.
Beautiful urban trail but currently lots of construction along the path at the I-95 junction and west of Military almost all the way to 441.
Nicely paved path, parallel to a canal with decent view.
