Print Friendly MapOpened in 2017, this asphalt trail follows the bends of the north fork of the Powell River from the River Bend Shopping Center in downtown Pennington Gap, to Leeman field. An arched bridge connects trail users to the park, where amenities include pavilions; basketball, volleyball and tennis courts; baseball fields, an RV park and access to the Stone Mountain ATV trail.
Parking at the Riverbend Shopping Center located on River Bend Drive off of US-52 ALT; Leeman Field (119 Leeman Park Circle); or the Pennington Gap Town Hall.
It is fairly easy but also very nice. Goes right along with the river.
