The Rolling Ridge Trail winds through the city of Olathe on the southwestern outskirts of Kansas City. At its northern end, the paved route provides access to Prairie Center Park, a 75-acre recreational amenity offering opportunities for soccer, baseball, basketball, disc golf and fishing. There are also picnic shelters, restrooms and a playground.
As the trail continues south through a wooded area, you'll travel past a Walmart Supercenter. Here, you can connect to the W. Santa Fe Street Path to reach destinations east or west.
At the north end of the Rolling Ridge Trail, visitors can park at Prairie Center Park (555 N. Olathe View Road).
Some inclines and a very long downhill into the woods making for quite a hill to end. Very scenic and pretty with bridges. Ends and you double back. good workout for my second trail. Walkers friendly.
