This trail is part of the City of Wichita Falls' "Circle Trail" system. This segment follows Seymour Highway (U.S. 277A Business) for 1.76 miles. The best parking is on the east end at the Wichita Bluff Nature Area Parking lot. The most picturesque area along this segment is at about the 1/2 mile point where there is a view of a gorgeous canyon. The trail ends on the west at the BNSF Railroad. Future plans are to take the trail south along the railroad and connect to the Barnett Road Trail. On the east end, the Wichita Bluff Trail is presently under construction and is scheduled to open in 2017.
The Wichita Bluff Nature Area parking lot is located on the north side of Seymour Highway exactly one mile from its intersection with Loop 11. There are 20 spaces in the parking area.
