The Tangerine Greenway follows a former trolley line that once ran between St. Petersburg and Gulfport on Florida's west coast. The paved pathway begins at Gulfport's Tomlinson Park and heads east in a straight line for about half a mile to 49th Street South. The trail is dotted with trees and nestled in a residential area.
A good place to access the trail is on its west end at Tomlinson Park (19th Avenue and 54th Street South).
Very short but sweet paved trail winding thru a little park. It’s a nice segway to the nearby Skyway Trail. Be sure and visit Mama Pearl’s for breakfast or a loaf of her famous banana bread, located just off the side of the park (she’s closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
