Overview
The Whistler Historic Bike Trail runs for 1.3 miles through Pritchard, Alabama, which lies just outside of Mobile, Alabama. The entire route is flat and paved concrete. Frequent streetlights along the way light the route.
About the Route
The northern endpoint of the route is located just above S Anderson Ave. Leaving off from the parking lot here at the northern endpoint. The trail travels primarily between W Rebel Rd. and N Station St. along a flat and wide concrete path.
Close to the southern endpoint, the trail crosses underneath US-65. The southern endpoint features one of the highlights of the route, a decorative metal arch that displays the railroad history of the route. It is a triangle arch that spans over the trail with a plaque displaying an old steam locomotive and a small arch that spells out, the Whistler Historic Bike Trail.
The southern endpoint is just beyond here at N Patricia Ave.
The Whistler Historic Bike Trail runs between W Rebel Rd. & S Anderson Ave. (Pritchard) and Patricia Ave. & Rebel Rd. (Pritchard), with parking at both ends of the trail.
