Tuscaloosa Riverwalk

Great place to take a rest from traveling!

April, 2024 by mmistybrady

On a road trip and needed to stretch our legs. Great trail to walk and had the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen on a walking trail! 5 stars all the way!

Tuscaloosa Riverwalk

Beautiful with interesting stops

June, 2022 by john70jan

The first portion of this trail is closed down for construction. Once you get past the sports complex, however, the rest of the trail is beautiful, diverse, with places to stop and eat at a restaurant along the Black Warrior River, enjoy a picnic, or just rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Spectacular ride today!

Columbus Riverwalk

just what I needed

September, 2021 by 87jg7rb2rp

Working remotely and house sitting for my mom in Aberdeen. After a long week I needed to get out in Nature. This is an awesome well maintained trail. Only complaint is that you can’t sit in a bench and just look at the river. The undergrowth between the bench and the river is too thick. Other than that I did find some spots to get a great few. Highly recommend.

Columbus Riverwalk

Enjoyable

May, 2020 by deloresi

This is a very nice path by the river......when you can see it. I am always curious why paths or trails are built, but the scenery is so shrouded by over growing bushes that the views are nonexistent. The river can be seen in a few places which adds to the enjoyment of the path. Biking and walking would be the only way to traverse this path because of the the sand that completely obscures the concrete path in some areas. I wouldn't suggest inline skating here, although it would be perfect for it if it was cleaned off.

Columbus Riverwalk

Nice short trail.

April, 2019 by twlghtzne

This trail is about 20 minutes from where we live. We've rode it a few times.
It's a nice short ride through the woods and along the river. It has a few short rolling hills.

It looks like they plan to make it longer some day, which would be nice.
