Enjoyable ride amongst the river enjoying nature. Have the ability to visit the island and old mill with easy access. Lots of rest points for smaller children or older adults.

Kingsport Greenbelt

Fun for all ages

June, 2020 by cathyham

Nicely maintained trail with beautiful views of the river. Nice shade/sun combination and so peaceful. Goes through/near a nice park with playground, a mini golf, and a skate park, so the whole family will live this one.

Erwin Linear Trail

Nice short riding trail.

Wifey crashed going around a pole in the middle of the trail. Bridge closed at one point, so didn’t get to see the whole thing.

Love this trail in pigeon forge. Can get on at multiple locations and enjoy nature throughout this walk!

Point Lookout Trail

ALL uphill or ALL downhill

April, 2020 by nlevine94

Biggest thing to note, this trail is either all uphill or all downhill depending which end you begin on. It’s gorgeous, well paved for the most part, and very scenic. Will be back!

French Broad River Greenway

Recent maintenance

February, 2020 by barbara.howell.ms

I'm submitting this as a review because I can't find another place to send it. After the recent rains, someone used sand to repair the dirt path that connects the French Broad River Greenway to the French Broad River Park (it goes underneath the Amboy Road overpass). Please don't use sand! It makes it difficult and dangerous to ride a bike through the area. Please use dirt instead.

Riverwalk Greenway (Pigeon Forge)

Beautiful trail

I really have to congratulate Pigeon Forge on this one. This trail along the river is very well done. If you park at Patriot Park you leave the park and cross the street then follow sidewalk past several houses before you get to where it looks like bike trail so it can be confusing if you don't know that. Also when you get to the Island you have to cross a couple of bridges and take a right where the trail goes behind a building back to the river so also confusing. My first time on this trail I had to ask an Island employee. Very worth it though! Trail goes under the bridges so you are not crossing the parkway.

Veterans Boulevard Greenway

Very hilly

November, 2019 by wirenut7171

This trail is alongside Veterans Parkway in Pigeon Forge. It's a good ride if you like a lot of hills because almost none of it is flat. You will either be riding uphill or coasting down pretty much the entire way. At the Sevierville end the trail goes back towards town, past an old church and to the community center, which is also a great place to park and use the bathroom.

Tweetsie Trail

Worth the trip !

My wife and I travel the country to ride rails to trails.
This trails has it all , scenery, friendly people and a nice wide
trail great for hybrid bikes. Elizabethton has a cover bridge and
a small town fill. Johnson City is the place to stay and downtown
is up and coming with restaurant and breweries. The trail even has a BBQ
restaurant on the trail. The trail could use restrooms is stead of
porta johns. Other then that you will enjoy the ride ! Lattie Dockery
