This trail needs MAJOR maintenance south of the TCC campus. Tree limbs are growing out over it, preventing bicycling. The grass in places has grown 6 inches in from each side. The part going under the Creek Turnpike needs to be re-surfaced in some areas & have runoff dirt 3 inches deep removed in others. I call it the Kilimanjaro Trail leading to the hiking area where the turnpike diverges. It's like navigating a jungle to pass through it.
Awesome well paved and separate from car traffic trail crossing the Arkansas River. Connects east and west trails to form the loop. Western terminus is on top of the hill, and makes for a challenging climb but a great downhill ride on the other side!
A well maintained asphalt trail that has separate walking and biking lanes. All lanes are spacious and well marked making a pleasant experience for all users. Connects with other trails in vast Tulsa Trails network for convenient travel through the area.
Pleasant paved asphalt trail with easy railroad grade. A few homeless folks near downtown Tulsa as noted by other reviewers. Some distractions from the parallel highway, but this an urban to suburban commuter trail. Well tree lined and shaded, a welcome addition for summer rides in summer. S
Nice shaded areas with picnic tables and views of the river.
I rode the Cherry Creek trail the end of October 2024. It was a nice asphalt trail that I explored while riding the Riverparks West Trail. I rate it 5 stars. Traveling cyclist Facebook
I rode the West Bank trail in October 2024 and the trail is open end to end. I started at the pedestrian bridge then rode south to Turkey Mountain. There is a pretty good hill that is in two sections right at the south end. I then rode north to Rt. 66 — Southwest Blvd and rode back on the East Bank. Great trail with a lot of solitude. I rate it 5 stars! Traveling cyclist Facebook
I rode the Riverparks East Bank in mid October 2024. The trail was open from end to end. It’s like a bicycle super highway with lane markings and no passing zones completely separated from the adjacent pedestrian path with very few death machine crossings. Overall a level, very safe, and enjoyable trail. I rate this 5 stars for sure! Traveling cyclist Facebook
My favorite trail around. Well maintained and plenty of hills. I start at the NSU trail head and ride to where it meets the creek turnpike trail then head back. Some parts have plenty of shade, some no shade. There are benches and a bathroom stop.
Ride my bike from the liberty trail to the turnpike trail. Great ride!
Love the atmosphere, people, parks, and it’s also a pretty scenery all throughout! Love seeing active people enjoy along with their kids tagging along.
