Little Dry Creek Trail

Fun to see so many different neighborhoods

April, 2026 by nicoleworldwide

I've ridden my bike along this trail many times in the last year. It's been fun to see so many different neighborhoods in Arvada. We usually start near the Kaiser building on Sheridan and ride west to Five Parks. Out and back it ends up being about 14 miles. Typically, there are not many bikes on the trail just runners and dog walkers. There are a few shady spots along the way but wear sunscreen as you are exposed quite a bit. The only "bad part" of the trail is crossing Wadsworth at 77th Dr and having to ride around Natural Grocers and Target. It can be quite busy there but luckily it's only a 1/2 mile stretch. The trail is in decent condition but could use some TLC in spots. Over all, a good place to get a quick ride in after work.

South Boulder Creek Trail

Lovely views of mountains and rural countryside

March, 2026 by laurastark

Our family took a springtime bike ride on the southern section of the South Boulder Creek Trail from the Bobolink Trailhead on Baseline Road south to just beyond the US 36 underpass (roughly 3 miles one way). It was a pleasant outing with gorgeous mountain views and rural countryside. We saw a few birds, a couple horses, and lots of cows (including calves). The trail surface was a mix of pavement and crushed stone; both well maintained. On a sunny Saturday afternoon, we saw lots of other bikers, joggers, dogwalkers, and families out enjoying the trail.

Greater Cheyenne Greenway

Cheyenne Greenway

March, 2026 by trixie7171_tl

This is a great trail that gets you all around Cheyenne. Multiple underpasses that keep you off busy roads/road crossings. Nice surface, well built and the signage is great. Love riding this trail after work and you can string together a decent amount of miles if you do an out/back and even a nice loop if you just want to get out for a ride and mostly stay off the road. Super happy to have this trail in my backyard. One caution: approach the underpasses slowly in the spring/early summer as some of them get flooded but you can go around pretty easily on the road and get back on the main trail fairly quick.

Power Trail

Power trail left me feeling very powerful.

Wonderful trail with plenty of room and some great views to the west. Just walked it for the first time since the pass over the train tracks was finished and enjoyed the new addition. Would certainly recommend!

Boulder Creek Path

beatifull !

Everything is very good except because in some parts there are homeless people sitting or lying on the road where it is supposed to be for bicycle traffic!

Signal Ditch Trail

Nice ride through Thornton

September, 2025 by laurastark

We enjoyed the northern tip of the Signal Ditch Trail on an early September ride. It was a pleasant neighborhood setting beginning from Thornton's Fallbrook Park. The journey included views of large cottonwoods, bright sunflowers, and the Rocky Mountains in the distance.

Grange Hall Creek Trail

Scenic ride through Thornton

September, 2025 by laurastark

We biked a section of the Grange Hall Creek Trail in Thornton from Margaret Carpenter Park through the south end of Grange Creek Park and into the Riverdale Open Space. It was a really pleasant ride through a beautiful natural setting and a prairie dog habitat.

Rainbow Trail

Great neighborhood pass through trail

July, 2025 by rbjones467

Rainbow Trail is a great stress free connector from the Arvada firefighters Park to the east rainbow park in North Arvada. Nice wide well maintained concrete trails. Mostly passes in between fences of houses on each side of the route but with ample trees. Great way to get to King Soopers (80th & Wadsworth) from the West End of Arvada.

Spring Creek Trail (CO)

Excellent ride

July, 2025 by nicholae.brown

Starting in spring canyon community park and riding towards downtown, this is a great loop and connects to other great routes. Spring creek trail is one of my favorite ft collins pathed rides. If you have a mountain bike they have a small fun park to ride some dirt hills. If you enjoy scenery, the ride takes you past several nice farms, under bridges, and by some nice lakes and streams. Several breweries along the way that are bike friendly and to fill up your canteen or jugs. Love the ride

Poudre River Trail

wonderful evening ride

July, 2025 by nicholae.brown

This trail is well paved and an excellent ride. The connection from Timnath to Windsor is not connected. Unless there’s an alt route it abruptly ends in a field. Being stubborn I powered through the field following pink land surveying markers. Since there is no bridge, I had to go down a dirt road and use a bridge to get to the other side of the water. The dirt road turns to thick, hard to ride grass, and found myself riding through an oil rig site. From there I took the dirt road to the street. The street, going left, leads to a lake and greenway, the first right you can take. There’s some construction Windsor after the park and to navigate toward Greeley you have to take some street. Unless I’m mistaken the path is not complete. As soon as it is this is a must ride! Stopped at Luna’s Tacos in Windsor and great halfway rest drink and grub spot.

Loveland Recreation Trail

Loveland recreational trail-loved it!

July, 2025 by jenkins4fun

We did 15 miles starting by the Chilson rec center and went west all the way to the end by Oxbow missing the bridge that goes under 34. We then crossed under 34 to Mehaffey Park. Had a nice picnic break there and turned back. It was a great ride.

South Platte River Trail

Calm and collected from the conference

I rode this trail while in town for a conference and it did not disappoint. Use the lime bikes too. It was peaceful.
