Jordan River Parkway Trail

Great for walking or bike riding. Every summer I plan a "Moon light walk" with my family a few days before a full moon. Usually on a weekend. It's so much fun!

Candy Mountain Express Bike Trail

Pleasant Ride

November, 2022 by vvvqsxnj7r

We were there in the fall. The colors were beautiful and the ride relaxing. I was impressed by the benches to stop at and rest or to sit and soak in the scenery.

Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail State Park

great ride except the last 4 miles to tresses

October, 2022 by djones4412

This is a great ride with beautiful scenery but…the last leg after going through Coalville is a carpet of “goat head puncture weeds” so you had better have very puncture resistant tires on your bike. This trail really needs some love from whoever is charged with caring for it. I have never seen so many puncture weeds on one trail. My friend had to replace both inter tubes after our ride.

Red Canyon Bicycle Trail

A pleasant trail

October, 2022 by 2barrittc

My wife and I rode this while visiting Bryce Canyon. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the large cracks in the pavement as others have mentioned. Just be aware that it’s all up hill in one direction and the altitude can make it challenging if you’re not used to it. We rode it from the Bryce City end to the opposite trailhead and back and I was glad I had rented an ebike

Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Trail

Great urban/suburban trail

October, 2022 by rregovich

Nice long, safe trail. Pavement is good to great the whole way. Criticism that the double gated entries are a pain is valid, but they are combined with traffic control, or at least warning lights at every intersection - makes crossing the many roads very safe.
Not a lot of traffic - I could really cruise on my bike.
Take the train from downtown with your bike to Roy and ride back!

Porter Rockwell Trail

Back breaking cracks every 50 ft or so. Terrible street crossing that are nearly impossible to negotiate on a recumbent. This trail needs some serious maintenance and upgrades.

Bryce Canyon Shared Use Path

Very nice pathway!

September, 2022 by c2barritt

We rode this from Ruby’s Campground to Inspiration Peak which was mostly uphill. NOTE!! If you’re not acclimated to the altitude (8,000’) the climb can be challenging

Moab Canyon Pathway

No electric bikes ¿

September, 2022 by ronda.gilbert52

Sad to hear that electric bikes are not allowed on this trail. I am 65 and can no longer ride a regular bike. I am able to continue enjoying cycling with the use of an electric bike. I thought that all Utah trails were open to senior cyclists on all types of bikes. So disappointed!

Provo River Parkway

crowded

Nice ride but very crowded at times.

Bryce Canyon Shared Use Path

Beautiful trail

July, 2022 by mlane14_99

This is a beautiful, curvy asphalt trail with a slight incline. We started our ride at the shuttle station in Bryce Canyon City and rode to the end of the trail at Inspiration Point inside the park. It’s nearly an all downward ride back to the shuttle station. There are many gorgeous pine trees and chipmunks to see along with a brief canyon view from the trail. Riders may choose to ride on the paved road through the remainder of the park for an additional 13 miles of do but the road has several challenging hills.
