Print Friendly MapThe Bear Canyon Trail is an east-west route through northern Albuquerque stretching from the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course to Juan Tabo Boulevard. To either side, the trail offers neighborhood views; straight ahead, trail-goers will face the scenic Sandia Mountains. At its eastern end, the trail runs along El Oso Grande Park, a grassy open space with picnic areas and sports fields. A disconnected trail segment extends between Osuna Road and US-85.
At the trail's western end, parking is available at the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course. On the trail's eastern end, parking is can be found at the Central New Mexico Community College.
