An urban sidepath trail along the busy Wyoming Boulevard northeast of downtown Albuquerque, the Wyoming Trail provides over a mile of eight-foot wide pathway that helps cyclists and pedestrians traverse the outskirts of residential neighborhoods and shopping areas. The trail passes through the open space that marks the edge of the campus of the private Albuquerque Academy school, meaning that hardly any road crossings are required aside from the school entrance. While not much to look at, the Wyoming Trail is a nice addition to the city's trail network, connecting in the north to the Pino Arroyo Trail and the Heritage Hills/North Pino Trail - in the south, bike lanes along Academy Road allow cyclists to continue east or west.
No dedicated trail parking is available; parking may be available at several of the nearby businesses on the north and south ends of the trail - be sure to follow any posted parking signs and regulations.
