Overview
The Carroll Creek Path runs for 3 miles through the heart of Frederick, MD.
About the Route
The Carroll Creek Path leaves off in the north from Rosemount Ave., near the Schifferstadt Architectural Museum, and heads south alongside Carroll Creek. The northern end of the route runs along the north end of the route near Culler Lake.
Once the trail crosses N Bentz St., there are trails along both sides of the creek and passes by Mullinix Park and Carroll Creek Park. This southern end of the route also doubles as the Carroll Creek Linear Path and the stream becomes a channelized creek surrounded by a brick riverwalk, as well as many restaurants and bars.
This section of the trail hosts many events like the famous Frederick Winter Solstice Boat Parade.
The Carroll Creek Path runs between Rosemount Ave. (Frederick) and East Patrick St. (Frederick).
