The Cottonwood Creek Trail is a concrete hike and bike path in the Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas. Beginning at the southeast corner of Gabe Nesbitt Park, the trail follows Pine Ridge Boulevard east, stretching alongside its namesake creek. The setting is residential, and the creek is channelized and neatly landscaped. The trail weaves through neighborhood parks and schools, making it great for both recreation and commuting locally. Beyond McKinney Ranch Parkway, the creek becomes more natural, flowing freely and surrounded by thick vegetation. The trail ends at Collin McKinney Parkway, north of the Sam Rayburn Tollway. South of the tollway, the neighboring town of Allen has its own trail along Cottonwood Creek.
Gabe Nesbitt Park also features a trail that runs through the park and leads to the Serenity Park.
The trail is 8-foot wide concrete and features underpasses to cross streets.

Great skate trail. Would not recommend for beginners. There were a few tricky parts due to standing water, hills, and sharp turns. Would highly recommend for those looking to advance their skills. Will definitely be doing this one again!
