The Del Mar Hike and Bike Trail is an urban trail sitting in residential Laredo, Texas. It sits in an electric utility corridor that runs between rows of homes. The trail is anchored by educational facilities on both sides. On the west end is the Mary Help of Christians School while on the east is United Middle School and the United Independent School District. Users can also access shopping and restaurants at either end of the trail. The trail therefore is useful as a non-motorized route to various destinations, as well as a recreation space for residents of all ages.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail but residents from nearby neighborhoods can access the trail on foot or by bike.
