The Great Northern Connection Veteran's Memorial Trail runs a scenic, rural route through northern Minnesota.
About the Route
The 26-mile trail is divided between a 20-mile main route that stretches between the towns of Rosseau and Warroad. This trail is mainly been designed for ATV use but cyclists with gravel or mountain bikes will be able to navigate the trail just fine.
Quite a lot of the route run's alongside MN 11, dotted with small farms. The southern spur leads off from 530th St. and heads south for another 6 miles.
The Great Northern Connection Veteran's Memorial Trail runs between 11th Ave. SE (Rosseau) and Mom's Way (Warroad).
There is no designated parking along the route, but either end offers in-town parking.
